This place looks very trendy but the food is not authentic at all. It tastes plain, and you have to add soy sauce and spices to make it tasty. The atmosphere is great, specially when you sit in the patio outside. The service is terrible with sad faces...

Excellent cool place where you don't expect it to be like that in Hollywood. It was last day of summer and we had great fun. Very quiet and nice atmosphere. Food is excellent too. Friendly service and nice decoration!!

Jitlada Authentic Thai Cuisine is incredibly authentic. I haven't tasted real southern Thai food yet and this was an unforgettable experience for me. The food is extremely spicy that makes you cry!! Thanks to Local Thai Food Meetup group we had to taste all the authentic Thai items on the menu that are written in Thai...

Torung Restaurant is located in the west end of Thai Town. They have a large variety of items on their menu. The food is very delicious. Portions are great! They are open "till dawn" and hence their name in Thai.

Palms Thai Restaurant is packed with tourist who are visiting Hollywood. The service is very slow and there's nothing special about it except the Thai Elvis who wasn't even there when I visited. The place is very noisy and resembles a hotel lobby. The food is OK but the servers are annoying, they ask you if you are ready to order the moment you get in!! dah!! I haven't even looked at the menu yet...

Westwood Thai Cafe offers un-authentic Thai food similar to fast food. I was at the LA Film Festival and wanted to grab something quick and was very disappointed by the quality of their food. The place is very small with no atmosphere.

Pattaya is located across from PCC. The restaurant is big and well decorated although the lights are a little bit dim. It also has a massage salon on the rear side. I ordered the Siamese spring rolls and the Mosaman curry beef.

Thai Rama BBQ offers a variety of Thai and Chinese dishes. It's located in a strip mall next to a 99 cents store but once you get inside it's very quiet and comfortable. A water fountain at the entrance and Thai music add to the tranquil atmosphere. I ordered the Roast Duck Curry (with pineapples), shrimp and egg rolls, and fried rice. The waitress was super polite and friendly.

Tiparos is a very cosy, quiet, and clean restaurant on east Colorado street. The decoration and colored walls are inspiring. I ordered the Nam Sod (ground chicken salad) and Vegetable/Tofu Tom Kha (coconut milk soup). The food was well presented and very delicious, the service was friendly. They also have lunch specials.

Thai Smile is located behind a strip mall which makes it hidden from the street. It's small but well decorated, clean and quiet. It offers lunch specials with rice and soup. I got the Gang Ga Lee (Yellow Curry chicken) and it came with vegetable soup and steamed rice. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was calm.

Pailin Thai Cuisine is very small but very clean and authentic. The menu features a variety of Thai delicacies. The decoration is nice and the atmosphere cosy. I ordered the Beef Boat Noodles and it was intensely flavored, extremely soothing for a rainy night. The service is very friendly although there are not that many waiters. Satisfaction guaranteed!!

I have been to Ruen Pair twice, once before remodeling and once after. Now this place looks bigger and cleaner. The decoration is nice. I ordered Pad Thai and Namtok pork. The food was very authentic and delicious. The service was ok for an afternoon shift. After getting me food nobody approached my table and I have to go and pay them at the counter.

I like Krung Tedd for its dim light decor and atmosphere, specially the venetian blinds that make you feel you are in a Hollywood Film Noir. We ordered Beef Panang and Pad See Ew and they were very delicious. The only thing I didn't like about this place was the live music as it was very loud. I prefer quiet places with warm atmosphere.

I have been more than 20 times to Sanamluang Café. I keep bringing my friends here because they love the atmosphere and the variety of food. It also has an outside patio which makes the eating experience more enjoyable. I have no complaints about the food. Everything is delicious and the portions are big. So I don't know which item to review here since I have tried almost everything on the menu. The service is friendly although this place is super busy after midnight. Only cash accepted.

I have only ordered twice from Chang Noi. It's located in a strip mall near to Thai and Laos Market. The service is very friendly but the food is very spicy. The first time I ordered Beef Panang and said I want it medium but it was super hot. The second time I ordered Chicken in Yellow Curry and I said mild but nothing changed. No wonder it's called Chili Paste!!

I have seen Special Thai Restaurant for the last 8 years but never tried it. So last week i decided to give it a try during my lunch break. Inside there was no decoration of any kind at all. The service was terrible since the waiters kept disappearing and you have to look for them. I ordered Mint leaves with chicken. No soup or rice came with it and I have to order them extra. The food was delicious and the portions were fair. The only special thing about this restaurant (thus the name) is that they offer Halal meat.

Essential Thai Cuisine can't be noticed from outside but when you get in you're in heaven. I felt I was on vacation in another country. It's very clean, cosy, well decorated and tranquil. They have lunch specials with soup and rice. I ordered the Pad Prik Khing (Beef with string beans). It came with Wonton soup and steamed rice. The food was exquisite. The aroma lingered with me all day, made me feel good. The service was super friendly.

Thai Nakorn is located inside a strip mall. I wasn't very much impressed with the decoration. They have lunch specials that come with soup and rice. I ordered Pad Kra Pow Beef (stir fried with Basil leaves). It came with Tom Yum Hot & Sour Chicken soup and steamed rice. The food was ok. The service was good. I was helped by 3 different waiters.
