I don't venture behind the Orange Curtain too much. I should eat in the OC more because there's pockets of excellent ethnic food.
I'm glad I found a Thai place in Westminister (as I may be visiting here often). It's good, not great. The best thing on their menu is their prawns. The other dishes were good, nothing memorable but very tasty. It's a typical hole-in-the-wall place and the prices were good. There's free dessert too.
I don't recommend the seafood fried rice. They have pieces of hard boiled egg in it and they are salt bombs. I almost spit mine out.

This is my fav Thai rest in the area!

My bf and I come here pretty often when we crave Thai food.

The service is always great, ppl here are very sincere, polite & curteous!

Price is awesome...very reasonable & the food is fantastic.

It's a casual restaruant..nothing fancy.

Hard to find a good thai restaurant in the OC unless you go to Thai Town. Chaiyo is prob the best one i've gone to down here. They have stuff here that you can't get at the normal thai restaurants unless you go to thai town.
Aside from the usual dishes like Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, Garlic Beef, Som Tom (papaya salad), Pad Kee Mao, and Yom Nua (beef salad).. all of which are really good.. the following are 2 dishes that have now become my faves.. never tasted anywhere else but here..

one of my faves is a salad w/ lap chong (sweet sausage) and lime-based dressing (lime, fishsauce, onion, garlic, cilantro ) . Not on the menu but i've learned how to say it in thai. Order this: "yom goon chieng".
my other fave, not sure if it's on the menu is these pork balls that are grilled and skewered and dipped in a sweet/sour dipping sauce. TO DIE FOR. Order this: "luke chin ping".

And then order a side dish of sticky rice.

Pricing is very reasonable as well.
