I go to dine at Bangkok West every other week and sometimes more frequently. They are located just across the street from the Santa Monica Main Library. Their food and service are exceptional. Bangkok West's Thai decor is quite exquisite and calming, which makes the whole dinning experience even more wonderful.

They have a tasty, yet affordable, lunch menu on Mon to Fri from 11 AM to 3 PM. From the lunch menu, I recommend the Ginger Chicken & Wine Hot Wok, Emperor Chicken Cashew Nuts, Thai Kick Boxing Curry Yellow Curry, or Spicy Eggplant & Basil. All lunch menu items serve with a house salad, egg rolls, rice (white or brown) and iced tea. Again, you do get the best value for your (little) money.

Also, as an added bonus, occasionally you will run into celebrities there.
